Many clients report not just improved physical health, but a feeling like they finally have the tools, knowledge, and motivation to feel like they can trust their body and health again.
Where traditional therapy works by processing through talking, somatic therapy uses touch and/or presence, body awareness, and a "felt" sense of sensations to bring forth wisdom and healing to your mind and body.
Imagine if you knew you could be in any situation, encounter anything that comes your way, and know you've got this (and you won't be recovering for weeks because of it).
Schedule your free 20-minute connection call. We'll discuss your what type of support you need and answer any questions you have.
Whether it is learning nervous system tools you can practice on your own, individualized one-on-one sessions, or a combination of both. We'll craft a plan to meet you exactly where you're at.
Begin your journey to releasing stress and trauma, trusting your health, and feeling safe to live in your body again.
Because these patterns developed over years (or decades), true change takes consistency, safety, and time. You may start to notice shifts within weeks — more breath, less reactivity, deeper rest — but full nervous system rewiring is a slow, layered process. It happens in phases, not in a straight line.
The good news? Every small moment of regulation builds the foundation for lasting change.
How long does healing the nervous system take?
Nervous system regulation is your body’s ability to respond to stress and then return to a balanced, calm state. It’s not about never feeling stressed — it’s about having the capacity to shift out of survival states like fight, flight, or freeze and back into a state where you can rest, digest, connect, and think clearly.
What exactly does nervous system regulation mean?
No. Nervous system healing is not about rehashing the details of your past. Instead, we work in the present moment with your body’s current patterns and responses. The goal is to help your system feel safer and more capable of handling life now.
Do I have to re-live my trauma for this to work?
Brain retraining is a top-down approach that focuses on shifting thought patterns and rewiring the brain’s responses to stress or triggers. Somatic therapy is a bottom-up approach that works directly with the body’s sensations and survival responses. When combined, they can create a powerful, whole-system approach to healing.
What’s the difference between brain retraining and somatic therapy?
Yes. Chronic stress and unresolved trauma can contribute to a wide range of physical symptoms, including digestive issues, headaches, fatigue, chronic pain, tension, and more. By working with the nervous system, we address the underlying patterns that keep your body in a stress response, which can allow symptoms to ease or even resolve.
Can nervous system work help with physical symptoms?
Signs of dysregulation can be emotional (anxiety, shutdown, overwhelm), physical (tension, fatigue, digestive issues), or behavioral (difficulty sleeping, trouble focusing, feeling disconnected). If you notice you’re often “stuck” in these states or can’t shift out of them easily, it may be a sign your nervous system needs more support.

Craniosacral therapy is a gentle, hands-on approach that works with the body’s subtle rhythms—especially those of the craniosacral system (the membranes and fluid surrounding the brain and spinal cord)—to release tension and support the nervous system’s natural balance. Somatic therapy, on the other hand, is a broader body-based approach that combines awareness, movement, and touch to help process emotions, release stored stress or trauma, and restore regulation in the whole body-mind system.
